The Luthier's Clamp is a simple clamp that does not provide a lot of force but can quickly be put in place to hold small pieces quickly.
This is a great beginner’s project as it teaches many skills in a functional project. And if it does not come out perfectly then it is not a problem as you can always make another. It is just a shop tool
The set of plans here are 12 pages of measured drawings, lessons learned and links to other information. they also include the Sketchup drawing so you can make any changes you would want.
