Q&A:

Ryan Wall

Anyway, you mentioned in the last week's episode that you don't know the origin of "druthers". It comes from the shortening of "would rather".

Seth Anderson

Druthers is a contraction for "I'd rather", which, in the South, is often pronounced "I'd ruther." So when you shorten it, comes out as "druther." And it progressed to the phrase we know today

Keith Johnson Custom Woodworkin:

I do have question James...have you guys ever given a discount on a commission project for being late on delivery per original schedule? I am talking like weeks/months late.

Make Brooklyn:

o in the woodworking world, there are two basic divisions (there are many beyond these as well) Power Tool and Hand Tool ..... is there an analogous division in other areas like metalwork?

After Show:

Sean Foushe:

James, I was given an old Fulton #2 hand plane I want to restore to use with my kids, but the tote is broken in half. Would you suggest just making a new one or trying to repair it?

Brian Flic:

What was your ohh ha moment, when you relized you could be a maker fulltime?

What’s new/what are we watching/reading?

Johnny: Wintergatan Marble Machine

James: Mosaic pins by Black Beard Projects

Zack: 6061.com
