These are all tools that I use or suggest. I have eather used them enough to approve of them for the price, or I trust enough valued sources that use them. I do not always suggest the “best on the market”, but I try to look for the best bang for the buck. some pages will list the “best” in my book and have a second version with the best for the price. If you are looking for recommendations for “the best tool” feel free to send me a message and I can suggest others that might be better for you personally. There is no best tool for everyone. The most common plane you will come across. This one has the quality with out breaking the bank.

Fantastic quality for the price.
Mini Router plane
Great for detail work
Rabbit Plane
A remake of the old Stanley. A great starter version
Jack Plane
This is one of the most versatile planes in the shop.
Cabinet Scraper
This is a quality remake of the Stanley #80
Router Plane
Fantastic for beginners. this does not have all the bells and wisterias of others but will do the work for a fraction of the price.
Joiner Plane
The same size as the Stanley #7
Shoulder Plane 3in1
Shoulder planes have become crazy expensive. this one keeps the price low but also gives you the option to set it up as a bull nose or chisel plane.
Card Scraper Set
This is a great Beginners set as it is all in one.
Low Angle Jack Plane
The best quality for the price in my book. These have gotten crazy expensive, but this one has kept the quality at an affordable price.
Spoke Shave Set
Affordable but good quality. not the best on the market, but they will treat you well for years to come.
The Wood By Wright Card Scraper
This is the same Card scraper that I use every day.
