REED Bearing Depth Adjuster (Howard adjuster)
This is a Depth adjuster with a bearing that will fit Lie Nielsen Planes as well as many Clifton, Preston, Record, Taytools and other companies. The bearing removes any lateral movement caused by the adjuster. It also has a tighter press fit, so there is no slop in the movement. They come in 3 different styles.

Large size Fitting to other planes Note: We have tested this in almost all of the Lie Nielsen block planes and the Lie Neilsen #62. it also works on the orange Jorgensen 60 1/2. The bearing is 4mm thick, but we have found a small variance in some of the Lie Neilsen irons. And in one instance, the slot in the iron was slightly too small to house the bearing. If you find this is the case on yours, you can grind the slot a bit bigger to match the bearing thickness. If you find this to be the case on your plane and you do not wish to make modifications, we will gladly issue a refund for the purchase price once received back in an unused condition. We also offer an adaptor stud that will screw into a 1/4-28 thread ont he plane and reduce the size to work with a 10-32 adjuster.
